Domain (Transfer) Secret or Authorization (Auth) Code (The security key is no longer required for UK doamins) is a code assigned by the Registrar at the time the domain name was Registered. This Domain (Transfer) Secret acts like a password for a domain name, ensuring that only the owner of the domain can Transfer their domain name.

To Transfer any domain name, you would require to first obtain the Domain (Transfer) Secret or Auth. (.ES domain names do not require a Domain (Transfer) Secret Key/Authorization Code.)

Transfer a UK domain

  • Once you have placed the Transfer request, you need to change the IPS-tag for this domain name to our Registrar tag. This needs to be done through your Current Registrar. The IPS Tag for LerriHost is PDR-IN
  • The security key is no longer required for UK domains
  • The Identity of the Registrant Contact must not be changed during the Transfer process. Identity refers to :
    o Name of the Registrant Contact, if the Registrant Contact is an individual
    o Company Name of the Registrant Contact, if the Registrant Contact is a non-individual
  • Free UK domain transfer (co.uk, me.uk, org.uk) when you buy a personal email
